In memoriam: Kathleen Hammitt

The Methodist Theological School in Ohio community unites with the family and friends of Kathleen Hammitt in mourning her loss. She was killed during a tornado in Northwest Ohio June 5, when the car she was driving was struck by flying debris.

Hammitt, a Master of Divinity student at MTSO, served as pastor of North Dover United Methodist Church in Wauseon. She is survived by her husband, Norman, and her children, Jennifer, Amy and Adam.

Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday, June 11, at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 W. Main St. in Woodville, Ohio. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Woodville United Methodist Church, 201 W. First St. in Woodville. A full obituary and condolences may be found at www.marshfuneralhomes.com.
