Healthy Congregations, in collaboration with Methodist Theological School in Ohio, will present its May Leadership Series special event May 28 and 29. The theme is “Navigating the Rapids: Finding Hope in Changing Times.”
The event, originally scheduled as an onsite conference, is being offered in a revamped online format focused on the responsibilities of leaders in communities of faith in the era of COVID-19. Sessions will be held 5:30-9 p.m. May 28 and 9 a.m.-noon May 29. The price is $125 for the general public and $75 for Healthy Congregations members. MTSO students, staff and faculty may participate at no cost.
Highlights of the event include keynote addresses by Tod Bolsinger and Peter Steinke; workshops led by Emlyn Ott, Steinke and Bolsinger; an introduction to Systems Thinking and Bowen Theory with Dana Runestad and Fulgence Nyengele; and conversations with colleagues about current challenges amid the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
