Our students learn to lead in a changing world and an evolving church.
MTSO academic programs are relevant and adaptable to your unique desire for ministry. Aided by a modern, fully wired campus, our faculty members share a passion for teaching, challenging and inspiring the next generation of Christian leaders.
Academic programs and degrees
Our fully accredited graduate programs include five master’s degrees and a Doctor of Ministry degree. We also offer certificate and United Methodist certification programs, as well as the Course of Study School of Ohio.
Faculty
Every day, MTSO students are learning from professors who are respected scholars, authors, and contributors to religious, academic and popular dialogue.
HyFlex education
We employ HyFlex (short for “hybrid-flexible”) education, through which classes are taught in person and remotely via Zoom – both at the same time.
Beyond the classroom
Our facilities, resources, opportunities and special events make theological education at MTSO both rewarding and practical.
