The University of Mount Union and Methodist Theological School now offer incoming college students a 3+2 program leading to a Master of Arts in Social Justice degree in five years of study. MTSO’s MASJ equips graduates to lead, organize, educate and collaborate in diverse social, political, religious and educational contexts.
The typical path to an MA in Social Justice degree requires six years of study. The 3+2 program saves you time and money.
You will begin the program at the University of Mount Union in Alliance, where it is recommended that 3+2 students declare a self-defined major in Social Justice & Diversity Studies.
After completing the 3+2 program’s requirements at Mount Union – 100 semester hours, of which 60 are in residency at Mount Union – you are eligible to begin two years of study at MTSO, where you will finish requirements for a Mount Union bachelor’s degree and earn an MA in Social Justice degree from MTSO.
You are eligible for financial aid throughout the program, in accordance with each host school’s eligibility policies.
We look forward discussing the 3+2 with you and invite you to contact us.
